Here's 4 of the Shepherd Hooks all finished and ready to go

Next up, was getting my trusty old Stihl weedwacker out of the shed, and having a go at all the weeds and long grass around the edges of the backyard - fences, trees, shrubs, rose garden, ponds etc. While walking around by the back shed, I discovered a horde of 20 cement leaves. Yes, Paulette said, they are going to Blairmore with us to decorate Erin and Rhett's backyard for the wedding ceremony. I may have to tow a trailer behind our fifth-wheel if this keeps up.
Yesterday, I discovered that these 20 cement leaves are all going to Blairmore with us

Once the weedwacking was done, it was just a matter of climbing on my John Deere tractor mower and whipping around the backyard to cut the grass. Before that though, I had to clear the "minefield" of toys left around by Rylie and Molly. They are having a great time now out in the yard chasing and fighting over their treasures. Of course, when they get tired of that everything is scattered all over the place. They're worse than kids!!
Our granddaughter Mikayla will be traveling to Blairmore with us

Speaking of kids, my 10 year old granddaughter, Mikayla, phoned today to say that she could come with us to Blairmore instead of going with her Dad and the rest of the crew on the 23rd. That meant we had to change our plans a bit so we will not be leaving now until next Saturday instead of Thursday as we had planned. Mikayla is in a summer camp which doesn't end until this Friday afternoon and she really wanted to finish it up as it is "prize day". That will work out just fine as we'll still be in Blairmore by Monday as per our RV park reservation.
Rylie wondering "I'm not supposed to be up here am I"?

I had planned to wash the 5th wheel yesterday, but by the time I finished up the other jobs, it was just after 1:00pm and it was too darn hot to do anything outside. I ended finding a cool spot in our family room to stretch out, read and have a nap for a couple of hours. Last night, I just spent a few hours on the computer as there was absolutely nothing on TV. The most exciting thing on my list of things to do today is taking our garbage to the local dump - yeah!!!

You know I don't miss the yard mowing. I guess I will have some yard to mow out at the barn.

if you need a place to stop over in SD on your way, I have a spot in my front yard. Power and water!!
We can see how Mega2 and Rylie get along.....:-)
